Nov. 24, 2025

Driven by intelligent green energy and guided by a renewed vision, Yingli Group is shaping a transformative ecosystem for the future. On November 22, the Yingli Group (Digital) Developers Conference was grandly held in Baoding, Hebei. Centered on the theme of “Encirclement, Breakthrough, Resilience, and Rebirth,” the conference brought together more than 500 representatives from governments and enterprises, universities and research institutes, as well as industry leaders. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on policy directions, technological innovation, product advancement, and global expansion, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the new energy sector.

Policy-Driven Guidance: A New Track for Market-Oriented Transformation

China’s energy structure is undergoing profound adjustments. With the release of the 15th Five-Year Plan approaching, the national target of 3.6 billion kW of installed wind and solar capacity by 2035 has outlined a long-term growth trajectory for the photovoltaic sector. At the same time, the new-energy industry has fully entered an era of market-based competition, where the entire value chain faces challenges such as business-model restructuring and accelerated technology iteration. Driving transformational breakthroughs has become an industry-wide consensus.

Yingli Group New Energy (Digital) Developers Conference

“At present, China’s new-energy sector has shifted from being a supplementary energy source to becoming a principal energy source, and marketization, intelligence, and scenario-based applications will be the core directions for future development,” stated Miao Qing, Chairman of Yingli Group, in his opening address. He emphasized that the ongoing energy transition imposes higher requirements on grid flexibility, safety, and stability. Meanwhile, the implementation of comprehensive market-oriented reforms is fundamentally reshaping the underlying logic of new-energy project development, construction, and operation. While these changes present unprecedented challenges, they also create boundless opportunities. Only by proactively adapting to change, leveraging complementary strengths, and pursuing collaborative development can the industry navigate cyclical fluctuations and achieve steady, long-term progress.

Technological Breakthroughs:Comprehensive Multi-Scenario Energy Management Architecture

“The new-energy sector has entered the fully market-driven 4.0 era. Challenges such as lower-than-expected returns from stand-alone new-energy investments, behind-the-meter storage, and traditional electricity retailing have become increasingly prominent. In this context, technological innovation is the decisive lever for breaking through,” stated Liu Dingtao, General Manager of Yingli Group, in his keynote address. The conference highlighted a series of technological advances across multiple sub-sectors, including virtual power plants, zero-carbon campuses, and intelligent operations—representing the industry’s core growth pathways.
